Korea’s Blueprint for International Racing

With excellent tracks, a strong breeding sector and healthy wagering, South Korea is a key player in the growth of racing in Asia.

An exciting new threshold was crossed in 2013 with a Korea-Japan race series seeing the first foreign-based horses racing in Korea.  This is just the first step in the Korea Racing Authority’s blueprint for the future development of the sport.

Dr Seungho Ryu is the KRA’s International Racing Manager.In the ARC session Industry Profiles he will describe current state of play in Korean racing and share the KRA’s plans for the future. 

Join the audience at the Hong Kong ARC to hear Dr Ryu and a panel of industry leaders profile racing in their countries, and paint a picture of the growth of racing in Asia.
